S2 5 days post op

After 5 days off, I'm returning to work today. I think I'm ready for that. My eyes actually look and feel pretty good, not normal, but good. There is still some swelling and a little tenderness on the right eye especially near the lower end of the incision. The left eye has very little swelling and isn't tender in any particular spot. Both incisions are closing, at different rates but still closing. The bruising looks to be about equal on both sides and that appears to be starting to resolve. I know the bruises take a bit longer though so I'll be patient!
Interestingly, I have not washed my hair yet! Yesterday, I had planned to do it and then chickened out. I'm pretty sure I'll be washing it today. It's been almost a week, and I honestly cannot remember the last time I let my hair go that long. It feels ick right now. It's on my "to do" list for today. I checked the post op instructions, it does not say anything about not getting the incisions wet so maybe if a little water gets on them, it will be okay.
Here is today's photo. No sun again. Blah! In 2 weeks, I hope to have nothing BUT sun! I'll be taking the banana boat sun block stick again, so no worries about sunburn on the incisions. Yea!
